Mochu Locco Zakka Cafe

Mochu Locco Zakka Cafe is a charming little cafe in Cheras with lots to offer. 

The story of how the cafe got its names is quite interesting, Mochu Locco is nicknames of two sisters who own the cafe, while Zakka is Japanese term for a shop selling miscellaneous goods.

Mochu Locco Zakka located along Jalan Bukit Segar 9 at Taman Bukit Segar, it is not easy to find, as the area is quite hidden. Search for the standing chalkboard of Mochu Locco Zakka Cafe along the corridor and follow the sign to the 3rd floor. 

The cafe is roomy and lightens up with hue yellow light, its walls stacked up with white colour bricks, while beautiful tables and chairs almost fully occupied. 

They have a great selection of drinks, from coffee, non- caffeinated drinks to scent teas, as for food, they have cakes, light food, and specialty food. Since it is a Zakke Cafe, they too sell a range of special gifts from stationery to adorable kitchenware. 

People who visited the cafe usually order their signature purple sweet potato latte and delicious homemade cake.

The Purple Sweet Potato Latte has grinded purple sweet potato and milk added in, it has a mild taste because they did not add any artificial flavoring, thus maintain its natural sweet potato flavor. If you love sweet potato, then this drink is for you.

All of their cakes are adventurous and tasty, if you like cheesecake, I recommend their Black Sesame Tofu Cheesecake, you can really taste the cheese.
