Bliss Melaka apologised for cancelling the show featuring controversial Korean DJ Newjeansnim.
“It definitely breaks our hearts not being able to deliver on our promise but rest assured that we strive to do more and better in our future endeavours,” written in Bliss Melaka’s Facebook account.
Korean DJ Newjeansnim was set to perform at night club Bliss Melaka on May 31st, but yesterday night club Bliss Melaka announced the cancellation of the event via Facebook.
Bliss Melaka is a nightclub located in Plaza Mahkota, Melaka.
“With heavy hearts, our team at Bliss Melaka would like to apologise that we have made the decision to cancel Bbakoo a.k.a Newjeansnim’s show on the 31st of May 2024 due to reasons that are beyond our control.
“Being the pinnacle of nightlife entertainment in Melaka, our sole purpose is to ensure that those within a 100km radius are not deprived of quality and trending nightlife entertainment,” written in Bliss Melaka’s Facebook account.
Apparently, Bliss Melaka cancelled the event to maintain a healthy relationship with their stakeholders.
“Unfortunately due to aspects that are concerning to our local community, we have chosen to abide by making the decision to cancel the said show, in order to maintain a healthy relationship with our stakeholders all throughout,” Bliss Melaka’s Facebook post said.
Recently the Korean DJ has sparked outrage after performing at a nightclub named Gemu Club KL on 3 May, while dressing as a monk.
On 8 May, the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) and Fo Guang Shan condemned the Korean DJ’s actions.
